Qigong practice
All information here is based on the system or style of Zhineng Qigong and Zhengti Qigong. These hold the theory that everything is Universal Qi. You interact and merge with the nature and empty space around you. This is the base of the practice. Other forms or styles of Qigong focus more on yin/yang or meridians of the internal body only.
Illness, discomfort, chronic pains, modern life diseases you name it are treated as a disharmony of Qi in the body. If Qi flows in harmony in and through the body illnesses are much less effective. If at all present. With Qigong you work on the selfhealing power of body and mind. In harmony with your inner nature. Qigong excercise is moving in meditation. There is no physical workout in Qigong. Qigong is about relaxation. In a relaxed state Qi can flow happily through the body.
Some Qigong forms emphasize strength and fitness and some curing illness and promoting health. Zhineng Qigong has emphasis on both. It is a fairly new form. Zhengti Qigong is a medical Qigong system with focus on the internal organs. This is also a new, recently developed form of Qigong. The old tradtional Qigong forms spring from thousands of years ago.
