Where does Qigong come from ?
Qigong originates from China and has its roots in Daoism, Confucianism and Buddhism
Which forms of Qigong are being practiced ?
There are many forms and styles originating in China but most of the techniques are from Zhineng Qigong and Zhengti Qigong(Therapy). Zhineng Qigong is developed in the late last century by Dr. Pang Ming. Zhengti Qigong is a very broad medical orientated form of Qigong wich was reated by Teacher Ning, who stil develops it. It has a lot of integration from other/older Qigong froms/styles in China.
Where did we get their training/knowledge from ?
Zhigong Institute and Qing Bai Academy in the Netherlands.
Main teachers: Anne Hering, Hans Vos, Nico Groot, Teacher Ning.
Other main figures and sources of inspiration: Luke Chan, Hou Hee(Frank) Chan, Ooi Kean Hin, Master Xie.

Is Qigong training hard ?
Qigong is not based on heavy physical excercise. Like most western sports. It might be that you will start using physical muscle power during the excercises. And that can make it feel heavy. The excercises are simple and easy to learn. After a while you will gradually start using Qi instead of phyiscal power. The focus is on slow movements to become aware of Qi, body and mind. From inside.
Is Qigong training dangerous ?
The practice is not dangerous or injury sensitive. The practice is bases on relaxation of the body and mind. It is however recommended to start with getting some lessons from a Qigong Teacher.
What are the benefits of Qigong practice ?
Qigong brings vitality, balans of body and mind. Awareness of body and mind. Improves the immune system. Less prone to bad colds and other illnesses.
What is a Qigong healing treatment ?
A healing treatment is where you get a healing session and do not practice yourself. You are being treated as a patient.
