Life's energy - Qigong(Chi Kung)

Practicing Qigong is like charging the battery to enjoy life more

Qi

So what is this Qi ? Or Chi ? and gong ? Or Qigong or Chi Kung ?

When you get really excited about something or really afraid then you feel a bodily reaction. You feel very warm, like your body is glowing. That is Qi. In the western world we say the blood is rushing to my head or more scientifially a shot of adrenaline.

The flow of a cold

How a cold runs through the meridians

If you catch a cold when your body hasn’t had enough inner energy to cope with it.

The body reacts in the following order. First the bladder meridian gets affected. If it doesn’t get healed the first day it will continue to the stomach meridian. If it doesn’t get healed the second day it will continue to the gallbladder meridian. If it doesn’t get healed on the third day it will go through the three yin meridians of the foot. The pancreas meridian, the kidneys meridian and the liver meridian. So usually the seventh day the cold will be healed naturally.

Organ controlling qiflow open close

The closing and opening in relation to descending and ascending Qi

You feel opening up when the Qi flows up on the left side of the torso. You feel closing down when the Qi flows down on the right side of the torso.

One can use these in daily life. For example when you feel a bit tired, closed down, sleepy, not feeling like doing anything, lazy you could change that mood opening up yourself by stimulating the left side up Qiflow.

Qigong acceptance and the earth element

About acceptance

Coming from the qigong teachings of transforming the programmed/inner nature..

When you truly accept yourself in the sense that you are part of the universe just as everybody else you are calling on the spirit of the earth element.

Long sentence yes but what it is about is that when you look inside to whom you really are and realize that you have somewhat of a rescenting personality acceptance will transform to the yang nature of the the earth element. Where your inner nature is not filled with rescentment to other people anymore.

Qigong earth element

The earth element in qigong practice

Earth stands for the centre in the human body. The organs associated with the earth element are the stomach and the pancreas. They play a central role in the Qiflow of the body. All main (zang) organs depend on the open flow of the earth element. The qiflow circle is from the right side down to the lower dantian and on the left side up.
