To master qi is to master consciousness

Qigong

Qi = lifeforce

Gong = practice

To practice wih Qi is to first calm down. Stand still and observe. Look inside and realize that body and mind is Qi. Just like the world around you. As far as the universe. Then you start to practice with the intention that everything is Qi

Qigong is an old treasure from ancient China for physical and mental wellbeing. Become in harmony with your own true self. Your own true nature.

You discover the self healing potential of body and mind by practicing Qigong. This can be as simple as not feeling well before practice and feeling completely different afterwards.

Some of the effects of Qigong practice:

  • Strengthens the bodily health
  • Repairs and regulates the nervous system
  • Stimulates blood circulation
  • Reduce breathing cycles
  • Illness prevention

That all sounds swell but to work effectively with Qi one has to detach from the logical thinking mind. Your thoughts, ideas, your daily life. If your mind does not calm down it is hard to become aware of Qi during practice. By all means Qigong is not a quiet meditation form with the aim to settle all thoughts, neuroses or whatever. Qigong is practice with body and mind in movement. But a calm state of mind is the base.

So if you had a busy day with lots of thoughts running through your mind it will take longer to calm down. That’s where we focus on during during practice lessons.

Dana generosity

Dana (generosity) Dana means generosity in Sanskrit or Pali. Giving without expecting anything in return. Charity. I try to keep from being commercial and see payments as aa form of generosity by the participant. That way it is part of the practice and not so much like a business transaction. The guideline for 7 Euro is purely there for people who have no idea what to give.
